Challenge

Complex competitive analysis tasks required analysts to manually gather, process, and synthesize information from multiple sources — a process that was slow, inconsistent, and difficult to scale. The client needed an AI-driven platform that could automate multi-step analysis workflows while maintaining the accuracy and reliability required for business-critical decisions.

Approach & Architecture

I designed the platform as a production service layer for multi-step AI workflows:

  • LangChain for multi-step agentic workflows broken into repeatable and observable subtasks.
  • Deterministic orchestration so the system behaves like a service, not like an unpredictable chat session.
  • FastAPI with WebSocket support for synchronous endpoints and real-time streaming of results.
  • AWS deployment model across Lambda, ECS, and S3 to match performance and scaling needs.
  • Docker and CI/CD for repeatable deployments and operational consistency.
